In the words of Shri Dhyanyogiji, “Spiritual realization endures no discrimination between householder and recluse – All have equal right to self-realization.” Shri Dhyanyogiji offered Shaktipat initiation among several householder and recluse seekers equally, which was attained by His hard practice for several years. Among several worldly disciples of Shri Dhyanyogiji, many attained the highest spiritual stage which was not easier to recluse one. Shri Kedarnath Pathak was one of them.
Shri Kedarnathji had five sons. Once he showed his desire to surrender one of the son in service of Shri Dhyanyogiji’s work to which Shri Dhyanyogiji responded quickly, “When the right time comes, I will take Deepak.” At that time Deepakji was in tenth standard and he became very close to Shri Dhyanyogiji due to his father’s affinity with Shri Dhyanyogiji. Throughout his years of schooling, he spent as much time as possible with Shri Dhyanyogiji. He also visited several pilgrimages along with Shri Dhyanyogiji. He was very much impressed by Shri Dhyanyogiji’s feeling of selfless compassion towards human being. With Shri Dhyanyogiji’s guidance and blessings, Shri Deepakji performed intense spiritual practices, mastered many yogic disciplines, and became one of Shri Dhyanyogiji’s most advanced disciples. He was companion with Shri Dhyanyogiji during their stay in America from 1976 to 1980 and rendered his services by his continued efforts. Since that time, to accomplish Shri Dhyanyogiji desire, he has worked alongside Shri Anandi Ma, even after Shri Dhyanyogiji returned from America in 1980.
