SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Shri Dhyanyogiji Welfare Foundation is a charitable organization providing medical facilities, distribution of shoes, notebooks to the students, and food grains to the poor needy people and scholarship to a few students. There types of social activities are carried out in Nikora & nearby villages, constituting population of approximate 25000, which are below poverty line & a tribal belt of Rajpipla & Bharuch.

THE DETAILS OF SHRI DHYANYOGIJI WELFARE FOUNDATION ARE AS FOLLOWS.

We are distributing notebooks to the students studying at Nikora as well as surrounding villages. These notebooks are given free to the poor students, who are identified by school authorities, as well as at concessional rates to the students who can afford.
We are distributing shoes also free to the students of the Vinay Vidhya Mandir High school – Nikora, Shrimati M.T.B. Zaveri Primary school – Nikora & Shri Sardar Patel Primary school – Nikora.
We are distributing food grains like rice, wheat, tur dal & edible oil free to the people below poverty line after verifying their status of B.P.L.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

The opd centre was working 3 days a week earlier, which was expanded to the full time opd from 31st may, 2015 & daily about 70 to 80 patients take advantage of this. In our Shri Anandi Ma Medical Center we provide opd facilities as well as the special facilities like Dental, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Gynaec, ENT, Physiotherapy, Diabetics treatment, Dermatology. These Special facilities are provided by the well known M.Ds. from Mumbai, Vadodara & Bharuch twice a month. All these free facilities are enjoyed by the patients from nikora as well as surrounding 25 villages. we only charge Rs. 10/- for the specialists’ case paper & nominal charges for the dental treatment. Ours is the only medical center providing such facilities in this tribal belt.
We have conducted free medical camps for needy people in school namely “Vinay Vidhya Mandir high school”, Nikora, Gujarat. We have organized free cataract operations at various hospitals like Rotary Eye Hospital – Navsari, Narayan Hospital – Bharuch, Seva Rural Hospital – Jaghadia. We have given spectacles free of charge including medicines to the needy patients.
In future, we want to extend medical facilities like x-ray & sonography, pathology lab, mobile medical van. We strongly feel that these kind of facilities are very much needed in this medical center because as on now,the patients should go to Bharuch or any other city for getting such type of medical help.
